We're less than six hours away from the most important election of our lifetime. I could go on a tirade about why you should vote for Kerry. Instead, I'll let someone who, though I disagree with him on many things, has hit it on the head once again.
Just a couple of things from me. Bush invokes the names of JFK and FDR all the time...remember kids, they were liberals. I'm by no means a hardcore liberal and I consider myself a follower of Jesus Christ, but I do feel that it's the Right-Wing Conservative Christians that are holding this nation back from being great. And don't forget...I WAS a Right-Wing Conservative Christian in the last election.
I voted for Bush for the exact reasons I now want him out. As a Conservative Christian, I wanted a President that listened to Jesus before he listened to anyone else. And, though I think a man's faith is an important thing, he must remember that 50 of the people he serves and the majority of the world do not believe in Christianity. I'm not a fan of using Jesus as an excuse to bomb and occupy countries. That's close to making us no different than the Islamic terrorists. Jesus taught peace. Jesus Christ was the original bleeding-heart liberal. Christ wasn't a warmonger. Get that through your skulls, church-going public.
That's enough from me...I'm just thinking alot tonight. Whoever you vote for...be it Kerry, Bush, Nader, Badnarik, or George Jetson...just get your ass out to the polls tomorrow and let your voice be heard. I know that's a cliche thing to say, but it's the truth.
