Lazy Monday.

Nothing too exciting today. Just watched a little TV, did a little laundry, played around on the computer, taught myself some simple songs on the guitar, and read/studied. My pre-comp check is this week, comp check on the 12th and I'm nervous as hell about it.

I feel like I lost alot of what I'd learned by working this weekend. I had the LAX turboprop desk both days...beautiful weather ALL weekend in SoCal (except for some nasty surface winds in a few places). It was TOO easy. And, oddly, I kinda like the 0500-1500 shift. Kinda went by quickly and I still had time to do things in the sun.

Managed to get into an argument with a pilot about to takeoff out of Yuma, AZ. Hard to explain what the argument was about without talking technicalities, so I'll spare you. Just wound up feeling really smart when it was all said and done...

It's kinda cold here (for those who keep asking, no it's not snowing...it doesn't snow in this part of Utah). The extreme changes in temperature are killing me...my head cold just won't go away. And for some reason, my "good" shoulder is in such pain. I don't know what I did to it...but I can't rotate it or carry anything in my left hand. I'm falling apart.

Had a nice IM conversation with Dabney this morning. For someone I haven't seen in 6 years...and have just begin talking to in the last few months for the first time in that same span of time...I really kinda miss that girl. Our conversation left me kicking myself for being so stupid when I was in high school. But, nonetheless, I was left much happier than I was before talking to her this morning. Perked me right up. She's spectacular.

My TV watching today was...interesting. It consisted of:

• "Inside The Actor's Studio - Dave Chappelle"
• Caught an episode of "Friday Night Lights" on nbc.com
• "Heroes"
• "Studio 60"
• A couple episodes of "The West Wing"

The last West Wing episode pissed me off a little. It was one I hadn't seen before...and it was an assassination attempt cliffhanger. Now I have no clue if I'll ever see the ending of it. Syndication sucks sometimes.

Wow...that was too much TV talk for one day.

I think I'm gonna try to run tomorrow. It's been awhile and I recently quit smoking. I'd be labeled a "social smoker" now, anyway. But, I've gone almost 2 weeks if you don't include the couple I bummed while drinking beers at Tavern last week and the one I bummed in the Atlanta airport. I hope my poor lungs can handle the running. Gotta work up to it.

I suppose that's all for now. Look for my Christmas wishlist sometime later this week. If you have extra money laying around, you can blow it on me...
