I'm off after 3pm tomorrow for a few days. After work, I'm gonna pack a bag, one last run to the gym, and then head to el aeropuerto to start heading to New York. The plan is to wander the city Wed./Thur. and then go to the Yankees-Tigers game at Yankee Stadium on Thursday night. Everyone knows I'm not a Yankees fan, but I really want to see Yankee Stadium before they close it after this season. That said, I will still be rooting for the Tigers...unless Joba Chamberlain or Mariano Rivera come in the game...then I have to pretend to like the Yankees for the sake of the survival of my fantasy baseball team. I'm so conflicted...
OK...so the Yanks game is Thursday night, so I'm gonna make the quick turnaround and catch the first available flight out of JFK the next morning to wherever I have to go to get back to SGU ASAP. Why in the hell would I want to get back to SGU so quickly? Because Cross Canadian-Freakin'-Ragweed are playing at The Electric Theater in downtown St. George, that's why! And I've gotta get home early enough to load up my flask with Jack and down some beers before going out since I'm fairly certain the venue, like so many places in Utah, is an "alcohol-free establishment". (and, yes, I did break out one old, old pic of me and the band from my radio days...hilarious).So, yeah...can't wait. Now if only my damn load of laundry in the dryer would dry the hell up...grrrr.

I'm jealous hoe. When are you gonna come watch the shitty Nats with me? I went to a game on Thursday at the new stadium...its pretty sweet (and they actually beat the Mets)!
